Bill Foley is the genius who led efforts to bring the Golden Knights into existence, which makes him, for our money, the best owner in sports. But he’s more than just a sports team owner, and one of his other business ventures is as a vintner, with more than two dozen wineries on the West Coast and in New Zealand.
To go along with that winemaking business, he also operates The Foley Food & Wine Society, a travel, entertainment and culinary luxury lifestyle community.
Naturally, if you’re going to run a wine-centric business, you need a wine bar for it that looks as posh as the rest of the operation is.
We built this wine bar for a society event at T-Mobile Arena to mark the start of the 2019-20 Golden Knights season with drop pendant lights and asymmetrical shelving to highlight some of the best wines the Foley Family vineyards have to offer. Standing 10 feet tall, 10 feet wide and seven feet deep, this moveable bar is the perfect spot to serve up chardonnay to thirsty gourmands who also have a vested interest in pounding on penalty box glass every time one of the Caps gets whistled for slashing.
